When you want to help but don't know the method

You want to help with homework, but you don't always know how

Your child shows you a task they are stuck on.

You read the exercise twice and realise, “Phew, I can't quite remember this one myself any more.”

And everything you find on Google, YouTube and so on doesn't quite fit 100% either, or isn't really any help.

And you have neither the time nor the inclination to chew through a ChatGPT answer for half an hour.

“But that's not how we saw it in class”

But maybe you're in luck, and you can actually still remember the topic from your own school days.

Relieved, you explain step by step how to solve the exercise. Only for them to look at you sceptically and say, “But at school we saw a different method.”

After half an hour you're both stressed, annoyed, and more confused than before.

Or the course is in a language you don't feel confident enough in to explain the material.

That's not a good feeling. You don't want them sitting alone in front of that difficulty, but of course you don't want to tell them anything wrong either.

You have better things to do than search the internet for explanations

In fact, resources you find on the internet often use different methods and approaches, or aren't at the right level.

That quickly leaves your child even more confused, and even more fed up than before.

And for you too, the whole process is annoying and eats up a lot of time. Only to land you right back where you started.

A better alternative is resources tailored specifically to the Luxembourgish curriculum. Ideally not just exercises, but also detailed worked solutions and explanations.

Precisely so that you don't have to look everything up or be able to explain it yourself.
